Fans of ITV2’s hit programme, Love Island, will get the chance to meet the stars of the show this weekend.

Two of the contestants from the reality TV show will be posing for photos and giving away autographs for 350 guests in Bluewater, Dartford.

Runners up of this year’s series, Jessica Shears and Dom Lever, will be showing off their new found fame at Bluewater’s newest store, Missguided.

Jess, 24, a glamour model and social influencer has proved to be a popular former islander with her instagram followers soaring to over a million since she left the Mediterranean villa. However the youtuber was chosen by her fellow islanders to be dumped from the show in week three, as her peers claimed her mission to find love was already complete.

Dom, 26, who previously worked as a careers advisor before entering the Love Island villa, was evicted two weeks later. Since then, the pair have reunited and have admitted they are smitten for each other despite rumours suggesting Jess didn’t remain loyal to her television partner.

This Saturday, July 15, the couple will be embracing their meet and greet in a truly Missguided style by travelling to the shopping centre in the store’s own taxi, covered in pink lips. The online fashion phenomenon, opened its second store in early June and has since been a host to celebrities.

From the taxi, the duo will be delivering a Facebook live interview dishing out exclusive gossip and answering fans’ questions.

The reality TV show, where the couple’s romance first blossomed, involves islanders coupling up and falling in love in the hope the nation will fall for them too and vote for them to win the £50,000 cash prize. Although Dom and Jess didn’t win the money they did walk away with their own jackpot, love.

Amelia Peters, 18, from Dartford also competed in the show but her hunt for love was unsuccessful and she returned home after three days, posting the hash tag “#catchingflightsnotfeelings” on her instagram page.

Mike Thalassitis, a 24-year-old footballer, from Margate was booted from the island on the same night as Jessica. Rumours swelled that the couple hooked up and Jess betrayed Dom moments after telling him she loved him. However both Mike and Jess denied any romance between them and Mike has since re-entered the villa hoping for a second chance in love.
