Sidcup man arrested after car keys reportedly stolen from man and woman sat in vehicle near Station Road, Greenhithe

A man and a woman were attacked by a group whilst sat inside their car and had their keys stolen.

Police were called to reports of a robbery in progress near Station Road, Greenhithe shortly before midnight last night.

A man and woman, both aged 18, are reported to have been approached by a group of people unknown to them while sat inside their vehicle.

They are then reported to have been assaulted and had car keys stolen.

Officers attended and a 19-year-old man from Sidcup was arrested nearby on suspicion of assault.

He was later released without charge.
