A crash has claimed the life of a man in Dartford and police are appealing for witnesses.

The man killed in the accident was driving a blue Ford Fiesta down Green Street Green Road when it collided with a white Peugeot taxi travelling in the opposite direction.

The Fiesta also collided with a white Toyota Carina travelling behind the taxi.

The woman driving the Toyota was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the crash which happened today (Wednesday) at about 1.40pm.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to a woman - not involved in the collision - who stopped at the scene to assist.
