A man who was found unconscious on the pavement a week ago has died.

The 33-year-old man, named locally as David, was found by a concerned passer-by in the early hours of Tuesday, May 31.

It sparked a police investigation which closed the A226 West Hill in Dartford for more than six hours between Highfield Road and Priory Hill (pictured).

An ambulance spokesman said that the man had suffered a heart attack.

At the time DI Ivan Beasley said: "Our investigation into the incident has not found anything untoward or suspicious."
