Man headbutted in town centre assault

A man was headbutted and punched just moments after he was verbally abused by a group of men.

The 19-year-old victim was assaulted in Spital Street, Dartford, on his way home following a night out with friends after he was approached by a group of men.

He was picked on by the group and later attacked by one man who headbutted him and punched him in the face.

Police are looking for witnesses to the assault and described the attacker as white, aged 20 to 25 and 6ft tall with short blond hair and blond stubble on his face.

He wore a striped dark blue, light blue and white jumper with jeans.

The incident took place on Monday, May 30 at 2am.
