Man seriously hurt in row over parking in Dartford

A man was pushed down some steps and seriously injured in a row over parking.

Two men were later arrested in connection with the dispute which happened in Dartford.

Police say officers made the arrests at 11.55pm on Monday after allegations were made that two men had pushed a third man down some communal steps before attacking him.

The incident was said to have stemmed from a parking dispute in Hardwick Crescent, Dartford, at around 8.30pm.

A 35-year-old man from Hackney and a 30-year-old man from Dagenham were both arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

The 30-year-old man was further arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs and possession of class B drugs.

Both men have been released on bail until June 14 while officers carry out further inquiries.
