Charlton were soundly beaten at South London rivals Millwall in League 1 on Saturday.
Charlton fell behind two minutes before the break to a goal by their former player Darren Ward.
A Christian Dailly (pictured) own goal a Steve Morison strike in the space of three second-half minutes effectively settled the game. Morrison then went on to add a fourth.
Ward headed the ball home from inside the six-yard box to ensure the home side led at half-time.
And Charlton were left with an uphill struggle after Dailly put the ball through his own net after 73 minutes.
Three minutes later the game was effectively wrapped up when Morison netted the Lions’ third.
Charlton’s misery was completed 10 minutes from time when Morison hit a low shot from the edge of the area into the net.
