TRIBUTES have been paid to a young single mother from Kent killed in a road accident.

Model Lucy Redmill, 24, died after her car was in collision with a parked van in Abbey Wood, South East London.

Miss Redmill, of Wellcome Avenue, Dartford, leaves behind three young daughters, Chloe aged seven, Georgia, six, and Tilly, who is only 15 months old.

One of her best friends, Jerri Lee, 24, from Belvedere, said: “Lucy was such a generous, loving, outgoing girl. She raised her kids practically alone and made sure they had everything they wanted and needed, but most of all they had her love.”

Miss Redmill was working as a freelance model. Antoine Becaglia, a photographer from Southend, who worked with her on several photo shoots, said: "She was such a professional girl, always willing to take on anything. She was making just about the perfect start to a career in modelling.”

Miss Redmill had been coping with family tragedies. Her father died of MRSA a year ago, and her mother died in June, having battled cancer.

The funeral will take place at St Nicholas Church, in Plumstead, on Friday, September 28, at 1.30pm.
