A 90-YEAR-OLD was taken to hospital after a road smash on the A2 near Dartford.

The woman was taken to Darent Valley Hospital following the two vehicle crash on the coastbound section of the road, near its junction with the M25, at midday on Saturday.

The pensioner was discharged the same day with only minor injuries.
