Pensioner injured after being robbed in own home in Hartley

A woman in her 80s was attacked and robbed of cash in her own home.

Police are issuing an appeal for witnesses after a man walked into a house in Church Road, Hartley, and demanded money from the occupant, at around 2pm on Tuesday March 3.

The suspect pushed the victim to the the floor, injuring her shoulder, and made further threats to harm her before leaving the address with a purse containing a quantity of cash.

He is described as being as being white, about 25 years old, 6ft tall, of proportionate build, with short hair and was wearing dark jeans and a long sleeved jumper.
