Police raid suspected 'brothel' in Lowfield Street in Dartford

Police have raided a 'massage parlour' in the centre of Dartford this morning.

Officers entered the business Lowfield Street, on Friday, December 21.

They entered The Natural Remedy Centre in Lowfield Street and arrested two women from inside on suspicion of immigration offences.

The business offers various massage packages.

One woman who saw what happened but didn't want to be named, said: "I saw officers go into the premises.

"They then brought out two people. I am not sure what it was all about but they were inside for some time."

Police spokesman, James Walker said: "Kent Police officers have executed a pre-planned warrant at a business premises in Lowfield Street, Dartford.

"The warrant was carried out at a suspected brothel and two women, aged 40 and 42, have been detained on suspicion of immigration offences."

"They remain in custody as inquiries continue."

The Home Office has confirmed the two women were referred to Immigration Enforcement and will now be interviewed and their cases progressed in line with UK immigration rules.
