Darent Valley Hospital raffle raises £300 to help save lives

More than £300 has been raised for new intensive care equipment in a raffle inspired by a fight for life.

Spanish Home and Baby Boutique in Dartford partnered with Minis Kreations and donated prizes for the raffle which raised £305 for Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford.

Louise Page, from the boutique, said: "We think it's a brilliant thing to do for our community and especially at a time like this.

"Previously we raised £500 for Lewisham hospital due to a very close family friend being on life support there. We thought we were going to lose him to Covid-19, but he pulled through.

"This touched our hearts and we thought about how we could give back to both of the hospitals, so we thought we'd raise money for equipment, as no matter what the situation, equipment will always be needed."
