A town road has been snarled up this afternoon following an accident.
The A226 The Brent at Dartford is partially blocked in both directions with slow traffic.
It is now understood that the holdup is from Home Gardens to the B2500 Watling Street (Brent Roundabout).
The bus routes 96, 428 and 492 have been diverted.
A police spokesman told Kent Online: "Kent Police was called at 12.34pm to a report of a collision between two vehicles in East Hill.
" Officers are currently at the scene along with South East Coast Ambulance Service.
"No serious injuries are believed to have been reported but traffic is heavier than usual while the incident is dealt with."
