A crash involving a car and a lorry in the Dartford Tunnel is causing long delays.

The accident happened in the left tunnel at about 12.30pm.

It was closed for just over an hour, with all north-bound traffic diverted via the right tunnel.

All lanes had reopened by 1.45pm, but there is still congestion.

Drivers are being warned to allow extra time for their journeys, with delays of 35 minutes being reported.
