A man has been arrested in Ebbsfleet Valley on suspicion of dealing class A drugs.
The driver of a vehicle was stopped near the Castle Hill estate at around 7.30pm last night.
Officers on a proactive patrol became suspicious of the vehicle that was being driven on the B259 in Swanscombe and decided to pull it over.
A 21-year-old man from Gravesend was then escorted to Kent Police’s headquarters in Northfleet for further checks.
As a result of further enquiries, a quantity of what is suspected to be cocaine is said to have been seized.
The man was then arrested on suspicion of possessing a class A substance with intent to supply.
He remains in custody as enquiries continue.
