Two charged with criminal damage in Hythe Street, Dartford after disturbance following Euro 2020 final

Two men have been charged with criminal damage after a fracas broke out following the football.

Police were called to a premises in Hythe Street, Dartford just before midnight on Sunday following England's loss to Italy in the Euro 2020 final on penalties.

During the disturbance, two men are alleged to have caused criminal damage to furniture.

Officers attended and arrested two men in connection with the incident.

Thomas Harber, 30, of Kingsingfield Road, West Kingsdown, and Edward Murphy, 37, of Darenth Wood Road, Dartford, were later charged with criminal damage.

They have been released on bail to attend Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday July 27.
