Queues have eased at the Dartford crossing after a crash between a van and a car.

Traffic was earlier backed up to junction 2 for the Darenth Interchange.

The west bore tunnel was shut off to motorists, but reopened just before 1pm.

The crash was on the M25 Dartford Tunnel anticlockwise between J1A for Swanscombe and J31 for West Thurrock.
