Two women arrested following argument and assault on emergency worker on Church Road, Swanscombe

Two women have been arrested after an argument which led to an assault on an emergency worker.

Police were called to reports of an altercation on Church Road, Swanscombe at 4pm yesterday.

Officers attended the scene and two women reported being assaulted following an argument.

A 34-year-old woman from Maidstone was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and a 34-year-old woman from Swanscombe was arrested on suspicion of the same offence and assault on an emergency worker.

Both women have been released from custody, pending ongoing enquiries.
