Police appeal after hit-and-run crash on A20 near Farningham leaves van driver seriously injured

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a driver fled the scene of a crash, leaving another motorist with serious injuries.

At around 5.15pm on Monday, February 14, a black BMW 235i was being driven towards Farningham on the A20, when it was involved in a collision with a white Citroen Van travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the BMW is reported to have left the scene before the emergency services arrived. He later attended a police station and has been interviewed.

The other driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to a London hospital for treatment.

Officers are investigating the circumstances and are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to get in contact.

They would also like to obtain dashcam or CCTV footage that may assist their investigation.
