A woman has been arrested after she allegedly tried to hit police officers with a plank of wood.

Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in Eleanor Close, Dartford at around 6.10pm on Friday.

On arrival, the individual was said to be holding a 'large plank of wood' and is reported to have attempted to swing it at offices.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of affray and common assault and released on bail pending further enquiries.
