Dartford goalkeeper Craig King has joined Hemel Hempstead on loan until January.
The 24-year-old joined the Darts last summer from Oxford City and was the number one choice between the sticks at Princes Park last term, making 14 appearances in the curtailed season.
But the reliable King has only featured in the club’s three FA Cup ties this campaign - including the 3-1 loss at AFC Sudbury on Saturday - after losing his place to former Welling stopper Dan Wilks.
Dartford boss Steve King said: “Craig’s gone on loan for a couple of months. He lives in Hemel and just needs to play games.
“Dan Wilks has done well this season, I just felt Craig needed to go out and play games. We’ve got a 24-hour call back so if anything happened to Dan, we can call Craig back.”
Leaders Dartford are without a game this weekend in National League South but visit Chelmsford on Monday night.
