Promotion-chasing National League South side Dartford recall midfielder Cameron Brodie from loan spell at Margate

Dartford’s Cameron Brodie has been recalled from his loan stint at Isthmian Premier Margate.

Midfielder Brodie joined Gate in August, initially for one month, and scored six goals during his 28 appearances in all competitions.

The loan was extended until the end of the season last month but now has been cut short.

Margate manager Reece Prestedge thanked Brodie for his time at Hartsdown Park.

“Cameron is a top lad that will, hopefully, kick on from here,” Prestedge told Gate's website.

“We really enjoyed working with him and having him here.

“I want to thank him for his contribution to Margate and also Dartford for trusting us with his development.”

Alan Dowson’s promotion-chasing Darts are at home to Slough in National League South tomorrow night before Saturday’s game against Oxford City at Princes Park.

Margate, meanwhile, host Cray Valley in the Kent Senior Cup quarter-final tomorrow and visit promotion-chasing Enfield in the league this Saturday.
