Dartford boss Tony Burman says captain Elliot Bradbrook is the best goalscoring midfielder in National League South

Dartford boss Tony Burman has hailed Elliot Bradbrook as the best goalscoring midfielder in National League South.

Bradbrook’s two goals at Gosport on Tuesday helped Dartford come from behind to win 3-1 and took his 2015-16 tally to 11.

That means Bradbrook has scored 10 or more goals every season since he joined the Darts almost seven years ago.

Burman said: "He’s the best goalscoring midfield player in this league by far and he was excellent on Tuesday.

"Elliot’s proven it over the seasons. He scores goals, important goals and gets into double figures on a regular basis.

"He’s got passion and heart and that’s what we try to give the young players.

"They look up to him and it’s what you want in a player and captain."
