Dartford manager Tony Burman is set for more talks with out-of-contract Luke Wanadio.
The winger is the only member of this season's Darts squad yet to give the club an answer about 2017-18 having been offered a new deal earlier this month.
Burman said: "I’ve had a chat with Luke and I’ll be meeting him on Thursday.
"We’re going to go over one or two other things.
"He wants to have another chat. It’s all positive so we’ll see what happens."
With 12 players already on board for next season at Princes Park, the Darts boss can now turn his attentions to potential new signings.
Burman said: "Because I wanted to get the business done with the existing players, I can now concentrate on putting the feelers out to speak to other players.
"I’ve started to do that but I’m not in a rush to make decisions on that. I’m just meeting some players to see if they want to get in the queue.
"We’ve got to add another defender, where we’ve lost Tom Wynter (to Margate) and I’d like to add to the strikeforce as well."
