Appeal after double death crash

POLICE have renewed their appeal for information about a head-on crash in which two car drivers were killed.

The accident happened on the A258 between Deal and Sandwich at about 1am on Saturday. It involved a white Ford Fiesta and a black Mitsubishi Carisma.

The victims have still not been named. There were no other passengers in the cars. An investigation is being carried out by police to determine the cause.

Witnesses to the crash, or to the manner of driving before it occurred, have been asked to contact PC Chris Brickley from Deal Police Station on 01622 690690.
