Dover hammered Sussex County League Division 2 strugglers East Preston 8-0 in the FA Cup second qualifying round at Crabble on Saturday.
Whites fielded their strongest available side for the game, with the exception of Sammy Moore who was rested, and Olly Schulz got the scoring underway when he struck after 19 minutes.
The second goal arrived after 32 minutes when Nicky Southall’s corner was headed in by the unmarked Dean Hill. Lee Browning slipped the ball between the goalkeeper's legs on the hour mark for the third,beforeShaun Welford headed home Danny Walder’s cross after 68 minutes.
The fifth came came when Tom Davis played in Browning and he lifted the ball over the keeper and into the net after 79 minutes.
A late flurry of three goals in four minutes, including two in two minutes from Jon Wallis, wrapped up an emphatic win.
Walder scored from close range after 84 minutes, before Wallis fired a 20-yard shot into the corner two minutes later and then scored again with a first time effort soon after.
