Driver in serious condition after crash on A258

A driver has been seriously injured after crash between two cars.

It happened on the A258 Dover Road, Walmer, at around 11.15pm yesterday.

Police say a white Vauxhall Astra was travelling towards Dover from Deal when it collided with a Ford Fiesta at the junction of Archery Square and Cornwall Road.

A spokesman confirmed the Fiesta driver was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a "serious condition".

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for any witnesses and anyone who might have dashcam footage taken in the area around the time of the collision, to call the appeal line on 01622 798538, quoting KH/JG/104/19.
