Crews from Deal Fire Station have been making Christmas collections with their festive train set.

This week they have been chatting to passers by outside Marks and Spencer in the High Street and accepting donations to the Firefighters Charity, which helps injured crew members or bereaved families.

As in other years, local charities and good causes will benefit from a portion of the funds.

They are on hand to discuss fire safety and can be seen every day in the run up to Christmas.
