Fire crews called to The Street, in Worth, near Deal following kitchen fire

A building was evacuated after a fire broke out in the kitchen.

Fire crews were called to The Street, in Worth near Deal following reports of a blaze in a commercial property.

Two fire engines attended the call at midday and used a hose reel jet to put the fire - which had started in the kitchen - out.

They used a high pressure fan to clear the building of smoke.

The building had already been evacuated prior to fire crews arrival.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
