A man has been charged with five offences after a stabbing at an address in Deal.

Lee Norris 34, is alleged to have assaulted the victim during a disturbance at a property in Freemens Way.

Police say the victim was taken to hospital for treatment to facial injuries and two stab wounds to the back on Wednesday.

Norris, of Stockdale Gardens, Deal, has been charged with grievous bodily harm, affray, criminal damage, and common assault.

He has also been charged with the common assault of an emergency service worker and was remanded in custody to appear at Margate Magistrates' Court.
