A 74-year-old man from Deal has been found safe and well following a police search.

Wilson Emslie was last seen in London Road, Sholden, at about 1.30pm yesterday afternoon.

He is white, stands at 6ft 4ins tall, has a large build, grey hair and a long beard.

When he went missing, Mr Emslie was wearing jeans and a blue jumper decorated with Christmas trees.

He has connections to Sandwich and Herne Bay.

Officers would like to thank all of those who helped with the search.
