Deal offender with 16 aliases pleads guilty to assault and threatening a house would be burnt down

An offender with 16 aliases has appeared in court.

Richard 'Jessica' Kennett from Dover admitted four offences including assault by beating, intending to damage a door and threatening a house would be burnt down.

The 47-year-old from Folkestone Road is also known as Jess, Miss Jessica, Jessica Kennett, Maxine Kennett, Rachael Kennett, Jessica Phillip Kennett and Richard Kay.

Kennett, whose gender was given as male on court documents, appeared at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, pleading guilty to all of the offences which occurred over three dates in July 2019.

Kennett damaged a door to the value of £30 belonging to Christine Crittell on July 19.

Ten days later Kennett assaulted the same woman by beating and threatened that her house would be burnt down.

On July 30, Kennett again assaulted Christine Crittell by beating.

Kennett was committed to Maidstone Crown Court for sentencing, although no date has been given and was released on conditional bail not to enter or go to a specific property in Rectory Road in Deal.
