A railway line was shut for more than two hours after a person was reportedly hit by a train.
It happened at around 6.20pm between Deal and Martin Mill.
The line was initially closed between Ramsgate and Dover Priory and reopened until about 8.40pm.
A replacement bus service was laid on to take passengers between Ramsgate and Dover Priory and some trains were diverted via Canterbury.
