Police investigate grievous bodily harm in Deal

A man suffered cuts to his arms and was treated in hospital after a serious assault in Deal town centre.

Police are investigating reports of an incident in Deal on Saturday night, which they're treating as a case of GBH.

A 21-year-old man was treated at hospital for cuts to his arms.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: “Kent Police is investigating a report of grievous bodily harm in Deal.

"The incident is reported to have occurred between 1.15am and 1.40am on Saturday in High Street, Deal.

“Inquiries into the incident are underway.”
