Firefighters had to force their way into a second floor flat this morning after a toddler was trapped.

The Deal crew was called at 6.50am to Telegraph Road where they used a ladder to access the flat through a window.

Firefighter Rob Taylor said: "The occupants took the rubbish out and the door shut behind them."
