A woman has suffered a serious arm injury after being hit by a van in Walmer.
It is believed the woman, in her 20s, was hit by the vehicle on Walmer Green, a large open area in the centre of the town.
The air ambulance landed on the grass, and firefighters and police were also called.
The woman has been flown to a local hospital.
Preparations are underway at the site for the Walmer Food and Drink festival which takes place tomorrow.
