Dover boss Chris Kinnear believes his side could trouble Football League big-guns in the second round of the FA Cup but only so long as they can avoid a potential first round upset at Corby on Saturday.

Whites travel to Northamptonshire to face a side lying 16th in the Calor League Premier Division.

However, Kinnear insists his players will not be allowed to take their hosts lightly, despite Athletic having beaten higher division opponents in the form of Oxford City in the previous round.

He said: “Corby have got some experienced players like Lee Hendrie, who has played Premier League football with Aston Villa, and his brother’s there too.

“We are certainly not going to take them lightly. I’m not sure what we can expect from their pitch and the journey up there is a bit of a leveller too.

“This is going to be our hardest game so far, we’re not going to stroll through, that’s for sure.

“I watched them when they beat St Neots 3-0 and they are a decent side and, playing at home, they will fancy their chances.”
