Primarily a full-back, though he also has experience in midfield, he made the first-team bench for Palace’s Carabao Cup tie against Oxford United in August - a match which the Eagles won 2-0 - but he was an unused substitute.

He then joined Scottish Championship side Queen’s Park on loan until the end of 2022.

It’s new Dover manager Mitch Brundle’s second signing in three days after the 28-year-old brought in midfielder Jack Paxman on loan from Ebbsfleet following Tuesday's 4-0 loss at Tonbridge.

This Saturday, Whites are at Hemel.

Boateng is set to be in contention to make his Dover debut.
