Ashford Town (Middlesex) v Dover

Dover have a number of injury concerns ahead of Saturday's game away to Ashford (Middlesex).

Jon Wallis, Jerahl Hughes and Frannie Collin are all doubts but striker Shaun Welford is available after successfully appealing against his recent red card at Margate.

Tuesday's 2-1 home win over Billericay extended Dover's lead at the top of the Ryman League, Premier Division to 23 points but, with four months of the season still left, skipper John Keister is taking nothing for granted.

The 38-year-old midfielder said: "Nobody is getting carried away and we just go into every game trying to do the best we can. The momentum in the side has carried on from last season and we are professional in all that we do.

"I don’t look at the table myself but I know some of the boys do. We are moving into the the second half of the season, which is always an important time but there’s no chance we will start coasting in games."

James Rogers and Laurence Ball scored in the Billericay win and are two of the younger players making their mark in the Dover side.

Keister dded: "All the young boys have done well. They all want to learn."
