Dover defender Connor Essam appears to still be looking for a Football League club to play for.

Essam, who captained Whites last season, played 61 minutes for Leyton Orient in the 2-1 loss at Vanarama National League side Braintree Town on Friday night.

Not that League 2 side would confirm that the former Gillingham man was one of the trialists in action. The Londoners have not revealed the names of those on trial.

Essam has been offered a contract to stay at Crabble.
