Dover manager Chris Kinnear said he was still looking to strengthen his squad ahead of the club’s return to Conference Premier – and he has been as good as his word.
Former Newcastle United trainee Nicky Deverdics and Matt Lock, who are both midfielders, signed for Whites on Tuesday.
Deverdics signed after the 4-0 win over Faversham at Crabble on Tuesday night, a result which made it five from five for Kinnear’s side.
It was Deverdics’ fourth pre-season appearance for Whites.
The 26-year-old’s career to date includes playing 26 times for Gretna in the Scottish Premier League as well as spells at Gateshead, Barnet and Blyth Spartans.
He arrives at Crabble after playing in the Faroe Islands for top-flight club TB Tvoroyri.
Lock, 30, who has played in all five pre-season friendlies before tonight’s (Thursday) trip to Sevenoaks, last played for Conference South side Chelmsford City.
