Goalkeeper Mitch Walker had put pen-to-paper on a new deal to stay with Dover Athletic.

The former England C man was one of the six players from this season’s squad who had been offered contracts to stay at Crabble but were yet to make a decision about their futures.

Whites, who finished eighth this season, are still waiting to hear from captain Connor Essam, midfielders Liam Bellamy and Nicky Deverdics, defender Sean Francis and striker James Poole.

Walker's fellow goalkeeper Andy Rafferty, defenders Richard Orlu, Sean Raggett, Tyrone Sterling, Tom Winter and Richard Orlu, midfielder Ricky Modeste and forwards Stefan Payne and Tom Murphy are already under contract.

Defender Jamie Grimes has also joined from Kidderminster Harriers.

Walker, 23, played 20 league and one FA Trophy game this season after tearing ligaments in an elbow in the 2-1 league defeat at Dartford in September.
