Could you provide a home away from home to an overseas student this year? You can now earn extra cash and experience for something very rewarding.

The Medway School of English are seeking welcoming families to host German students visiting Medway. The school have been organising stays since 1987 and are expecting an influx of large groups this year.

Do you have what it takes to be their support and guidance while you share some British culture with them?

The students have a full programme of lessons, activities and excursions including transport to and from their family during their stay but need the added help that a host family can bring to enrich their stay.

The youngsters are aged 11 to 17 and usually stay in Kent for three to five nights or two weeks. Medway English School will happily listen to your preferences.

The requirements:

• A spare room for your guests
• A willingness to treat students like a member of the family
• All hosts will need to be DBS checked (if you are not checked the school can do this free of charge)

Daily rates of pay are £40 for the accommodation of two students, £60 for the accommodation of three students, £80 for the accommodation of four students.

So hosting four students for one week could earn you an extra £560.
