A two-vehicle crash has closed the A2 in both directions.

The accident happened on the A2 Canterbury Road, at Faversham.

Traffic information provider Inrix said at about 6.40pm there were two vehicles involved in the accident on the stretch of road between the M2 J7 (Brenley Corner) to the B2040 Love Lane.

At 8.45pm, it was still showing as closed.

However, traffic is said to be coping well.
