A Kent radio station listener had the perfect start to the month when she pocketed a bumper cash prize in kmfm's '£1,000 Friday'.

The hugely popular competition invites people to enter to win the £1k jackpot to spend however they would like.

Entries start at 6pm on a Thursday and close at 6pm on the Friday, giving listeners 24 hours to take part.

Following thousands of entries from their Kent audience, Gosia Krolak, from Faversham, was this month's lucky winner.

Gosia received a surprise call today from presenter Jack Miles on Drivetime.
