The mother promptly took to social media to warn others - especially lone women who enjoy walking in the area.

She told how she and her daughter had been walking through a field from The Brents Industrial Estate towards Ham Road when they crossed paths with a young man.

"As we turned back round to walk back home we noticed he also had turned around and we crossed his path again but this time he made us feel a bit uncomfortable," she said.

"When we turned back to look at him he had stopped."

The woman says the man stood performing the sex attack in front of her and her daughter, while looking at them.

"We crossed his path again but this time he made us feel a bit uncomfortable"

"He didn't care that we had noticed what he was doing," she said.

The woman promptly reported the "worrying" incident to the police.

"Have seen him before on a walk and I know a few females walk their dogs alone though there...so just be careful people," she continued.

Police say the man is described as being about 20 years old, and about 5ft 6ins tall. He was dressed in dark clothing.

Officers attended the scene and spoke with several potential witnesses, but no suspect has yet been identified.
