Faversham Safari 2016 takes place this weekend

More than 90 homes are taking part in the Faversham Safari this Sunday (August 7).

Families from across the town will line up their unwanted bits and bobs in their front gardens, each donating £5 to the Faversham Creek Trust.

From Bysing Wood to Whitstable Road, the annual event last year attracted 40 homes, but has doubled in size this year.

Organiser Kathy West said: "Myself and Kerry are keen to see this event a regular yearly success to bring an event to Faversham to help raise money for a good cause each year and bring people into Faversham and bring people together.

"We are doing this for Faversham and not profiting at all ourselves."
