A shopkeeper is hoping to sprinkle a little Christmas magic over Faversham this year.
As the festive period draws closer the manager of Goodness Gracious, Oliver Sebastien, decided he wanted to help local underprivileged families.
The 28-year-old is setting up Kids Love Christmas, a not-for-profit group which will take donations of gifts and deliver them to struggling parents.
Mr Sebastien says he is no stranger to the struggle families endure during Christmas.
He said: “I remember growing up being the eldest of four boys, my mother doing her very best, putting on the bravest of faces, turning her hand to anything and everything to provide for us, doing anything to make ends meet…then came Christmas.
"If I manage to help even just one family this Christmas through this project, then it will have all been worthwhile” Oliver Sebastien
“Not everyone experiences this but many do, silently. This project was started to relieve such pressures around what I believe should be a joyous and festive occasion.

Donations of gifts and stocking fillers can be dropped off at either Goodness Gracious in Market Street or Butterfly Boutique in Market Place.
The items will be delivered before Christmas Eve.
Anyone in need who wishes to receive this support can contact Oliver anonymously or otherwise on 07435588053 or kidslovechristmas@outlook.com
People can also recommend their friends for the project.
