Kent Police make two arrests after woman taken to hospital following Faversham disturbance

A woman was taken to hospital with facial injuries after an argument erupted at a home.

Police are investigating the disturbance which happened in Love Lane, Faversham.

Officers were also seen storming a house in Ennerdale, Faversham, where a further search was carried out.

A woman in her 30s was taken to hospital for treatment to a facial injury following the altercation with a man and woman.

Police arrested 39-year-old woman on suspicion of assault and a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon following the incident at 7.45pm on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Both are from Faversham and have been released on bail, pending further inquiries, until October 29.

"As part of routine enquiries connected to the incident, a further search took place at home in Ennerdale, Faversham."
