Car strikes garden wall near Badlesmere after accident on A251 Ashford Road

A car has struck the garden wall of a property near Badlesmere.

The accident happened after a three-car collision on the A251 Ashford Road, close to Dayton Road, at around 6.50am today.

Police and ambulance crews are currently at the scene.

The vehicles, a Vauxhall Corsa, Peugeot 308 and a Ford Focus, are awaiting recovery.

Police say no one has been seriously injured.

Part of the A251 was also closed this morning after a car overturned just before 5am.

The car, which flipped between Shottenden Road and the Red Lion pub, has now been cleared and the road is re-open in both directions.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 4.47am on 23 July to reports a car had rolled over in Ashford Road, Badlesmere.

"Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene and the driver is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries.

"No other vehicles were involved.

"A road closure was put in place at the junction with Shottenden Road."
